Medicinen 1 is a generalist department aiming to care for patients with mixed specialty needs, in close collaboration between the department and a network of specialty-specific medical consultants.

We work with the patient in focus and always start from what the patient themselves wishes through dialogue with the patient and relatives. Our patients are all adults, but with a focus on the multi-ill elderly patient, and they primarily come to us from the Emergency Department and AVA (Acute Department).

The department has a clear focus on education/development of our staff, often in joint training with our sister departments. We place great emphasis on the opportunity for reflection and learning in everyday life, and to support this, we have team leaders and clinical specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome two nursing assistants who want to participate in our community and actively drive their own professional development while contributing to the department's further development and our patients' well-being!

In the clinical work with the patient, you will have a broad patient group. You will work together with nursing and nursing assistant colleagues in teams and collaborate with various specialty areas depending on the patient's needs. We place great importance on helping each other across teams to ensure that all patients in Medicinen 1 receive good care and attention.

QUALIFICATIONS

Do you want to provide the best possible care to patients together with your colleagues? Then we believe you have good conditions to thrive with us. With your positive attitude, you create a good working environment together with your colleagues. Furthermore, it is important for you to meet patients with humility and respect based on their needs. Additionally, you are a secure person and meticulous in your professional role.

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant and meet the Socialstyrelsen's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure, preferably with a focus on acute or medical care. You have good language skills in Swedish in both speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have experience in the profession, and we particularly appreciate previous experience in hospital care.

IT support is something we use as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings. Therefore, it is an advantage if you are accustomed to working in various operational systems.
